Who Am I?

I suck at these about-me things, so I’ll just list some facts about me here and be done with it.

• I’m a 20 year old girl from India.
• I love to sketch (with pen, pencil, chalk, whatever I have in my hand at the time)
• I love music but it is limited to punk rock and alt rock. Exceptions: Adele and Eminem (I have no idea why, but I’m addicted to some of his songs).
• I have a strong aversion towards cheesy love songs, catchy dance tracks that have lyrics about “getting down on the floor”, “moving your body” or “shaking your booty” and any other mainstream music the likes of which I’ve probably heard over a thousand times in other songs.
• I like headbanging in private.
• I love to read. I enjoy reading any book that doesn’t put me to sleep, but an alarming number of books nowadays do just that.
• I love books. Not just reading them, but the actual feel, sight and smell of them.
• I love to sing, but strictly inside the confines of the shower. Although people claim to have heard my voice from two streets over.
• I don’t dance. Ever.
• I love good movies of any kind especially fantasy, thriller and romance. But I can’t stand action movies and movies that make you cry.
• I am really, really bad in social situations.
• I have a terrible case of stage fright.
• Unlike my friends, I have no problem whatsoever with being alone. I love hanging out with myself. I can stay for days without any human contact. I like to think that it is because I am comfortable with my own company rather than thinking that I have social anxiety disorder. Although that is a possibility.
• Where my friends and cousins are scared of waxing, I find it relaxing. But I’m scared of plucking my eyebrows. Weird, I know.
• I like to write. I have over thirty unfinished “novels” in my laptop which I’m starting to suspect I’ll never finish.
• I’m not good at it, but I love to cook. Sometimes I pretend I’m hosting a cooking show on TV when I cook. It’s super-fun.
• I have kind of a foul mouth. I’m trying to rid myself of the habit though.
• I’m easily attracted to shiny objects.
